Monica Wise is working as a production assistant for Intercultural Productions. She is a young filmmaker, passionate about social change, indigenous traditions, and raising global awareness through documentary film. She recently received her B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, and has also studied anthropology in Chile and Havana, Cuba. Born in California to an artist and farmer, Monica has travelled extensively, particularly to Colombia, where much of her family lives, and she is excited to expand her love for Latin American culture and storytelling into her professional career. She has been working as a documentary assistant editor, and is now is focusing on putting her filmmaking skills to work in production. She is thrilled to be aboard the Intercultural Productions crew.
